1/3 design responses to episode 51 of the podcast Scratching the Surface. In the podcast Jarrett Fuller interviews Elliot Earls, graphic designer, performance artist, and the artist-in-residence in Cranbrook’s 2D Design program. In the interview, they speaks of designers who procrastinate an assignment due to choosing a color from the start. Earls' response is that a designer should just "pick a fucking color." This statement along with Earls' contradictory nature inspired the design series. The content is contradictory statements and unrelated images. Page numbers are PLU codes of the fruit and veggies pictured.
