The New Girls of Quidditch is a publication combining New Girl the TV show and Quidditch the sport. 8 female characters from 8 different TV shows fill the positions on the Quidditch roster. Positions (beater, chaser, keeper, seeker, snitch) were assigned based on how each character is portrayed in their respective show. Each player also represents a common female trope: Lady Black Magic, Spicy Latina, Rich Bitch, Southern Belle, Sexy Secretary, The Cutie, Dirty Old Women and Daddy's Little Villain. Holes were punched throughout the publication to symbolize both the unfair treatment women face in show business and also the physical hoops of Quidditch. The publication is bound with a blue band just as the players of Quidditch wear a colored band on their foreheads to denote their position.
